Slade’s preparation for leading Renaissance Studios began as a fine arts major at the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. His next step was to complete The London City and Guilds Program for Artistic Conservation, Restoration and Decorative Art. In over 25 years of professional experience, he has worked extensively with four of the most renowned conservation and restoration companies in the U.S., including Evergreene Architectural Arts, International Fine Arts Conservation Studios., Conrad Schmitt Studios, and John Canning Studios, in addition to numerous independent projects.
As to the future, Slade invisions Renaissance Studios being positioned to be a key player at the forefront of the industry for decades to come. Slade has been heavily involved in the artistic restoration of many historic buildings and landmarks, six state capitol buildings, the U.S. Capitol Building, President Roosevelt’s stagecoach, as well as the War Room in the Vice President’s Office Building, and countless churches, cathedrals and theaters across the country. His creative murals adorn numerous fine homes and businesses throughout the nation.
